Martin Stoneham is former Chairman of the Friends of The Royal Engineers Museum, Chatham, and has researched the story behind the erection of the Bailey bridge at Lullingstone in 1972, following the loss of the old bridge in the floods of 1968. Rod Shelton, author of 'Darent: The History and Stories of a River and its Communities' is also an expert model maker, whose scale model of Eynsford Castle is currently on display at Lullingstone Castle.
